Position Overview
Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Director and
Coordinator of Upward Bound, provide instruction and support for
the Upward Bound summer program and students. Instructors will be
paid on a per class basis not to exceed .25 FTE.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and communication
skills, as well as commitment to excellence in teaching students of
diverse backgrounds. Ability to work without constant supervision
and ability to motivate students. Knowledge of virtual platforms
such as Google Classroom and Zoom.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to
25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force
frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise
move objects.
