SURGICAL/TELEMETRY REGISTERED NURSE - NIGHT SHIFT

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Evaluate and document nursing care for assigned patients
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications
• Teach patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Use experience and judgment to accomplish goals Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current Texas RN license, compact state license required upon hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, ACLS preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in acute care hospital Med/Surg unit preferred
  • Orthopedics experience highly desired
  • Telemetry experience preferred Benefits:
