TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Artesia, New Mexico, 88210 Pay Information $2,067 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: One year in the nursing field, preferably in an emergency or intensive care setting License: Current state License Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP required or within 90 days of employment; TNCC required or within 1 year of employment; ENPC preferred Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree or Diploma Job Description: - Responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. - Interact effectively with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining professional nursing standards. - Demonstrate appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. - Educate patients/significant others with timely health information and share written informational material. - Perform direct patient care utilizing established procedures, policies, and standards. - Assist patients, family members, or other clients with empathy and respect their confidentiality and privacy; communicate courteously and respectfully. - Contribute to the orientation and training of new employees. - Support other staff in completing their assignments and recognize the need for variations in staffing. - Volunteer to fill open shifts and take direction to initiate actions that allow for cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient care. - Demonstrate sound judgment and take appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns. - Be self-motivated and respond appropriately to rapidly changing patient care needs and the environment. - Anticipate patient care and emergency department medical provider needs. - Assist providers with various procedures, treatments, and surgical techniques and delegate tasks to other healthcare members appropriately. - Exhibit a professional attitude and excellent customer service skills when caring for patients and their family members. - Treat all information and data securely and with appropriate confidentiality. - Cooperate fully in all Risk Management, Quality Management, and Safety Activities and Investigations.
