The Hospital Nurse Director of Case Management will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Director will report in weekly meetings with C-Suite executives in order to collaborate in the development of standards and/or protocols ensuring that national specialty standards and research findings drive clinical practice. The Director will also work closely with other department directors and educators in order to serve as a resource and educate case managers in dealing with difficult patient problems. As Hospital Nurse Director of Case Management , this person will take on a large and rewarding role that is responsible and accountable for the clinical and financial operations of the Case Management system. The Director will provide hospital-wide leadership in the areas of resource management, timely movement of patients through a continuum, DRG financial analysis, change management, managed care, guidelines/protocols, and systems improvement. This region of southeastern New Mexico is known for its hiking, world-famous national parks, great lakes for fishing and boating, and the most beautiful sunsets in the American Southwest.
