  • Job Details
  • The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
  • Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
    • Job Requirements
    • The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
    • Maintains a State License as a general radiographer.
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) preferred.

      • Shift: 4x10's, Mon - Fri, 8-1630
      • On-Call required: yes
