Overview: The Lactation Educator teaches breast feeding and prenatal childbirthing classes for the facility. Also fulfills all the duties of the registered nurse profile.   • Minimum of ADN education
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • Certified Lactation Counselor or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
  • Must maintain Certification and CE's appropriate for a Lactation Counselor or IBCLC.
  • Must register with the NM Board of Nursing Lactation Care Providers.
