Our rental department is seeking a yard Technician with experience in operating heavy equipment safelySkills & Qualifications:Personal skills must include mechanical ability, analytical thinking, and work organization. This position requires knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, heavy construction/farm and material handling equipment, repair methods and records. This individual must have the ability to prioritize the work to be done and focus on it, possess a high sense of urgency, to be thorough with the work being done, to offer his/her best knowledge of the situation to be used, project integrity and credibility to the company.Must have the ability to oversee loading and unloading of heavy equipment on trucks.Must be willing to keep an equipment yard clean and maintained.Must maintain a well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position.Performing any other duties as may be requiredEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredMust be able to read and write EnglishTwo or more years' experience in heavy construction equipment; preferredMust be forklift certified or pass a certification coursePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing, squatting, bending, or stetting.Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at timesMust be able to pass a WorkSteps exam (fit for duty) and pre-employment drug screeningCompensation & Benefits:Compensation will be a competitive hourly rate, generous PTO and Holiday plan, along with Company offered benefits, and 401k (with matching once eligible).PIb47963ac6f6d-25660-37034415
